- Test Drive
- Compression test
- Head gasket check using a leak-down test
- Carburetters rebuild, adjusted and synchronised
- Fuel injectors tested, dismantled, cleaned and adjusted or replaced
- OBD fault code reading and fault rectification for the young timers
Mechanical repairs
- Engine rebuilds
- Engine oil leaks - seal and gasket replacements
- Timing chain/belt/gear replacements
- Clutch replacements
- Gearbox, Differential and driveshaft overhauls
- Wheel bearing replacements
- Radiator and hoses replacements

We're currently offering the complete restoration of a 1970 LHD 4-speed Triumph Spitfire Mk III
and other interesting projects to follow in 2026
This car is being restored to its former glory keeping it close to the original spec with subtle upgrades for safety, reliability and comfort.
Customer to specify:-
Colours for the exterior paint, the hood and the interior trim. The customer may also specify any options which are not listed below;
- Engine rebuilt with unleaded cylinder head conversion
- Electronic Ignition
- Alternator conversion (from dynamo)
- Electric cooling fan
- Gearbox and Differential overhauled
- Chrome Wire Wheels
- Chrome bullet mirrors
- Walnut Dashboard
- Poly bushed suspension with adjustable gas shock absorbers
- Sound-deadening material inside doors, floors, boot, bulkhead and gearbox tunnel cover for that quality door shut sound.
- Single or twin stainless steel exhaust systems (standard manifold)
- Full customer inspection (on the ramps) welcomed during the restoration.
All restorations are supplied with:
- Full colour photographic restoration folder
- Technical Inspection
- BMIHT Heritage Certificate
- FFVE certificate for the classic car registration document
